This includes distributing scheduled news, public affairs broadcasts, and both sports and entertainment programming. The company actively acquires, develops, and schedules a broad spectrum of shows for the CBS Television Network, encompassing primetime comedies and dramas, reality series, specials, children's programs, daytime dramas, game shows, and late-night offerings. Additionally, it produces and distributes various talk shows, court shows, game shows, and newsmagazines. Paramount owns and manages 29 broadcast television stations and runs the CBS Sports Network, a dedicated 24-hour cable channel focused on sports and related content. Beyond its linear television presence, it provides various streaming and cable subscription services, prominently featuring Paramount+, its flagship digital subscription service for on-demand video and live streaming. The company continuously creates and procures programming for extensive distribution across numerous platforms, such as subscription cable networks, streaming services, and both premium and basic cable channels. Furthermore, Paramount Global holds a significant role in the film industry, involved in the development, production, financing, acquisition, and distribution of motion pictures.
